student of the game.

Being a student of the game is never to stop learning, adapting and breaking the status quo for industries, companies and brands. I love the duality of leading an enterprise and influencing the course of industry, all while staying true to one’s core values. Bringing together my strengths, passions and purpose to make a meaningful difference is what inspires me. I enjoy working with companies, brands and teams that are ready for a level of disruption or a strategy shift to the next level of success.

my journey.

A Bentley-trained executive, always fascinated by learning from the drive and perseverance of elite athletes and the wisdom of spiritual advisors for application to leadership and team building. Currently the Global CEO of WPP’s Studio X part of Open X created for the Coca-Cola Company and in development on various investments, start-ups and passion projects after 8 years leading North America as CEO for the global advertising network Havas and 7 years at Accenture Interactive’s Wirestone.

I serve on corporate boards for companies breaking tradition in their industries, including the stealth hockey analytics & quantified performance metrics company Scorched Ice, an innovative cyber-security firm part of the MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund, Broadstone Technologies and as an Executive Advisor for the leading group to return the National Hockey League to Atlanta.

With a lifelong dedication to giving back and inspiring change, I serve on multiple boards and advisory committees, all with the common thread of uplifting underprivileged youth through the power of sport and education. I was recently named to the Fan Inclusion and Diversity Council for the NHL, serving as Chairman of the Chicago Blackhawks Charity, The Inner-City Education Program and a board member of the oldest girls and boys club in Chicago, Off The Street Club. And also, very important to me, served a four-year term as an Advisory Committee Member for the impactful Chicago Blackhawks Foundation.

Launched in 2021, I’m a founding partner of the T.E.A.M Hockey Academy with former NHL player/current TNT analyst Anson Carter and CAA Hockey executive Jennifer Entin. The mission of the T.E.A.M. Hockey Academy is to level the ice for players of color in North America by providing an integrated experience of on-ice and off-ice life skills. The curriculum will include learning the game and preparing kids for a well-rounded and informed hockey experience, plus an allyship track for white coaches, parents and players. Coaches and mentors will include current and former professional women and men players of color and other allies from around the game of hockey.

For industry, I am a contributor and advisor to the New York Festivals, served on the global board of the influential global advertising organization Effie Worldwide and the Chicago 4A’s board plus have been quoted or published in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Boston Globe, Business Insider, AdAge, Adweek and more.

I find balance by suffering through WOD’s at CrossFit, playing ice hockey, riding my moto, paddle boarding, boating or watching Formula 1; sometimes all at once.
